Abstract

We report a remote, intercontinental frequency comparison between 171Yb (NMIJ) and 88Sr (UMK) optical lattice clocks. The frequencies were compared via the Global Positioning System Precise Point Positioning technique over the period from 10 March 2020, 00:00 UTC until 15 March 2020, 00:00 UTC. The comparison of the optical clocks yields results with a relative frequency uncertainty of 6.3×1015 .
