The framework is applied to the Chicago regional area network and analyzed under various EV ownership scenarios. The results reveal significant impacts of the charging pricing strategy on user decision-making and charging demand distribution. Abstract

In the past decade, electric vehicles (EVs) have gained popularity for their efficiency and environmental benefits. Advances in battery technology and charging equipment have yielded long-range EVs and fast-charging. However, many major cities lack adequate charging infrastructure for daily EV use.
