Abstract
Purpose
Nurse practitioner students receiving competency-based education must demonstrate provision of comprehensive care. Innovative competency-based assignments designed to hone diagnostic and articulation skills prepare novices to deliver complicated care proficiently.
Methods
Across 2 cohorts, student perceptions of an innovative assignment called the Hallway Consultation were analyzed.
Results
