Higher levels of oxidative balance score linked to lower risk of gallstones: findings from the 2017-2020 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

After adjusting for confounding factors, a significant negative association was observed between OBS and gallstone prevalence (quartile 4 vs. quartile 1: odds ratio [OR] 0.63, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.43-0.90, <i>p</i> = 0.019). The RCS analysis further supported a negative linear relationship between OBS and gallstone risk (nonlinear <i>p</i> = 0.149). Abstract
