One-hundred-ninety-nine participants with measured cMyC completed a cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) examination for assessment of myocardial fibrosis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Circulating cMyC was measurable in 99.6% of study participants and in 99.0% of CMR substudy participants. cMyC was positively associated with left ventricular mass and left atrial volume and inversely associated with renal function and indices of left ventricular systolic and diastolic function.
