Abstract
Transcriptional regulation of Escherichia coli ATCC11105 penicillin amidase gene (pac) by cAMP receptor protein (CRP) and phenylacetic acid (PAA) was studied by using operon fusions with divergent reporter gene (lacZ, and phoA) constructs.
