Método de evaluación de la calidad de vida de los quilombolos en Brasil

Abstract

Quilombo communities (former slaves) formed small villages in inaccessible places in order to live in freedom. These communities have very precarious levels of social, environmental, and public health. The objective of this paper is to create a multicriteria evaluation method to calculate the quality of life of these quilombo communities with regard to health, environment, and education. This evaluation allows to define the scale of the situation in these communities and prioritize public policies. Later, this index will be used in three quilombo communities to validate a multicriteria evaluation method.
