Abstract

This research paper very diligently reviews the working conditions of the construction workers. Factor analysis have been applied on the data collected from 15 construction sites around Delhi, Noida and Gurugram to find out the major factors which play an important role in development of labours in construction industry in India. Conclusions were made to develop the methodology to eradicate the issues of the construction workers which would ultimately provide the solution to improve the performance of the workers at the construction sites. This paper adds value to the regulators and owners of construction site to come up with guidelines and procedures which will not only decrease the number of accidents occurring at sites but would also increase their efficiency at work.
