Abstract
Recent initiatives to promote digital education exhorting in literacy and soft skills as computational thinking have required redefining curricula, teaching and learning methods adapted to a new channel of communication. Less attention has been paid to the psychological dimensions of learning and teaching Romanian as a second language, especially to language awareness and motivation of learners in the field.
