The lower reduction ratio per pass and the heat treatment between rolling passes can improve the mobility of dislocations, which indicated that this process was beneficial for improving damping capacity. Abstract

ZK60 magnesium alloy sheets with 0.65 mm thickness were successfully fabricated by twin roll casting (TRC) and subsequent hot rolling process.
