As example, it is demonstrated at the Levočský potok Brook watershed (Western Carpathians, Slovakia), built by fracture porosity dominated Paleogene sediments. A catchment-scale method for estimation of specific yield (Sy) in the zone of groundwater level fluctuation is proposed.
