Abstract
For a long time, scholars have presented Edmund Burke as an enemy of the Enlightenment, stressing, inter alia , his skepticism towards human reason. This article analyzes Burke’s views concerning the relationship between human nature and human reason as described in his best-known work, Reflections on the Revolution in France .
