Abstract

Nicolae Iorga’s life and works contain several examples of cultivating responsibility towards the national cultural heritage. The great historian published articles in the written press and held radio conferences about different sites bearing historic and artistic value. Their preservation, considered the author, could contribute to maintaining the spiritual link between generations and the formation of national consciousness.
