Resiliencia de los municipios costeros del Pacífico mexicano ante desastres socionaturales

Abstract

This research determines the resilience to socio-natural disasters of the coastal municipalities of the Mexican Pacific, through the use of prevention, resistance and recovery indicators. Priority attention groups were identified. The evaluation showed medium resilience in 79% of the municipalities, highlighting the absence of low values in the North Pacific and high values en the South region. The recovery capacity corresponded to the most incipient component, denoting the ineffectiveness of the predominant reactive vision in terms of risk. The municipalities are a half-way to resilience, where they must define the angle from which to approach the problem and redirect their efforts.
