Abstract

This paper focuses on improving the work of an existing Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Network by adding more code to the original, implementing dynamic power allocation to help improve the achievable rate of the far device. A system consisting of a base station, near user and far user is studied, when the far user is out of reach of the base station. In the original work, fixed values of power allocation are used. This means the power split between the far user and near user is always the same. Dynamic power allocation will cause the power to change if needed to hopefully improve the performance of the network.
