Abstract

This article offers suggestions to school counselors who consult with classroom teachers to help students who are hearing impaired develop feelings of capability, belonging, and contribution at school. In addition, it defines hearing impairment and provides information about the use of augmentation systems and interpreters in the regular classroom.
