Abstract

This article deals with the problem of the organization of a railroad train of territory of railway stations. It examines the existing state railroad territories and objects. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of railroad territories and the solution of the question of preservation and integration of historic train stations in the city structure. The analysis of domestic and foreign experience on the example of European countries and America. Also discusses the problem of reconstruction of railway stations. Examples are also provided. In addition, the marked tendency to the proliferation of Mega-stations, major transport hubs around the world.
