Abstract

This text aimed to reflect on the concept of freedom and liberation, from what Paulo Freire said in Education as a Practice of Freedom (which he calls the “introduction to Pedagogy of the Oppressed”) and Pedagogy of the Oppressed. In our view, as the concept of freedom was specially suggested by Erich Fromm, we brought to the debate his problematization.
