Abstract

The main disadvantages of studying the Ukrainian language during the USSR period and the tasks of their eradication are being analysed, and the political, ideological and educational aspect of studying the official language is being considered. The main methodological and didactic principles of learning the official language, and promising ways and approaches to effective learning of the Ukrainian language are being defined.
