Метафоры волны в заголовках российской и испанской ежедневной прессы в 2017 г.: сопоставительный анализ

Abstract

This article presents a contrastive analysis of metaphors in the languages belonging to different language families: Slavic (Russian) and Romanic (Spanish). We base our study on theoretical works in Russian, Spanish, English and Catalan, which describe national, linguistic, and cultural specifics of metaphorical associations, and their application to journalistic texts. The object of research is a headline as the crucial semantic element of media text. We chose materials published in 2017 in Web versions of newspapers. According to the current trends of media language researches, this article was realized in an interdisciplinary perspective. It connects methodological postulates of linguistic studies with the journalistic text. The results of the investigation allow us to identify the general and the particular in the empirical use of wave metaphorical expressions in the newspapers published in Russian or Spanish language, and distinguish specific thematic fields and pragmatic areas of its application.
