Abstract

Since the 1980s there have been several changes in the environment of libraries in Hungary, and there are new demands on higher education institutions for education and training in Library and Information Science. With funding from a TEMPUS JEP, an up-to-date library-laboratory was set up Gyorgy Bessenyei Teachers' Training College, Nyiregyh3za in the 1994-95 academic year.
