In the DPPH assay, the extract showed high antioxidant potential with an RC50 value of 143.5 μg mL -1 . In the disc diffusion assay, the methanol extract was found to have a significant antibacterial effects against Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus epidermidis. Abstract
