Se emplean los siguientes instrumentos: Trait Meta-Mood Scale-24 (TMMS-24), Emotional Quotient inventory (EQi-C) y Life Orientation Test Revised (LOT-R). Cabe destacar el empleo del coefciente Omega por ser una adecuada medida de confabilidad si no se cumple el principio de equivalencia.
