Results show a positive and significant impact of 16 competencies on wages. \nThe impact of these factors is greater than that of education. Actually, education turns out to be an “incomplete” indicator of the stock of human capital. Labor market values the mastery of some competencies more than the number of years of study. \nFurthermore, the results point out negative and significant coefficients for individuals working in the private sector compared to the public sector.
