The sheet metal repairing technology were used in automobile maintenance. The theoretical basis, common methods and tools for repairing were described at first. Then procedures and standards of repairing were studied. Based on the properties of materials and the basic knowledge of mechanics, the automobile door was repaired. Experiments showed that the repaired method is good, and the repaired doors met quality standards.
