The Phase Spectrum method, widely used in time delay estimation in the fields of radar and sonar, is applied to improve the wavelength shift detection accuracy without the assumption of the spectrum shapes and interpolation operation. It is suitable for FBG sensors in the homogeneous measurand fields. The data processing is realized by calling the dynamic link library on the LabVIEW platform to achieve the estimation result rapidly.
