We used Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) to generate initial basic feasible solution then we used this solution as an input for modified distribution method to check its optimality and produced better distribution as a solution. The results show that VAM has ability to find optimal solution in a given dataset according the optimality check achieved by MODI. Abstract

Transportation model is popular taxonomy of optimization problems, which concerns with goods distribution from different locations as supply to multiple destinations as demands.
