Abstract
The eye is the most beautiful and the most important sensory organ of the human body. It plays a vital role in our day to day lives. Eye sight is one of our most essential senses as 80% of what we perceive comes through our sense of sight. Moreover, the eyes make an essential contribution to the facial expression and serve for getting into contact with other people; therefore they are an indispensible means of communication. Protection of eyes reduces the odds of loss of sight for the rest of your life. Early detection and diagnosis is a way to achieve a reduction in the percentage of visual impairment. Generally scan reports will be viewed by doctors. So there is a chance for losing the identification of disease or miss prediction of disease due to inconvenience and also some amount of time required for starting the treatment. As a solution to this problem, the proposed system going to be an application that analysis the medical image and reveals the unclear factors which is difficult to view by naked eyes. This system analysis the images by localization followed by segmentation using digital image processing and compare the analyzed images with the sample images using pattern matching and pattern recognition, where the sample images are stored in the database. After knowing the disease stage we have to suggest the treatment for the suffered patient. By using this we can early detect the disease and save the patient's eye.
