Abstract
This paper analyses the causes of the large number of slug flows by OLGA software and analyses its control methods. It can be seen from the simulation that closing the high-production gas well to control the pigging flow rate and venting time can effectively control the volume of the pigging slug flow, thereby reducing the volume of the slug flow trap and reducing the platform area, thereby reducing the overall engineering investment.
