Abstract

In today’s scenario, natural fibers are used over synthetic fibers in fibers reinforced composites. Forthis present analysis, polypropylene composites with the content of Bauhinia vahlii stem fibers 10 wt% to 30 wt% will be prepared via Compression Moulding and characterised. The bauhinia vahlii stem fibers were modified with different chemical drafting and characterized. The mechanical, chemical, thermal and morphological analysis of the fiber as well as the composites will be carried out.
