Abstract
The present paper deals with anatomical features of Gynura lycopersicifolia , a rare medicinal plant collected from Tirumala hills of Andhra Pradesh. Photographs of Habitat, live specimen, dried plant parts, stem and Transverse sections (T.S) and internal anatomy with cell measurements of Leaf, Stem and Root were provided for easy identification and authentication of the species were provided with note on diagnostic characters.
