Abstract

The object of the study was the venom of a single bee, Osmia rufa Linnaeus, 1758, which had not previously been the subject of targeted biochemical studies. The protein and peptide composition of the venom was studied using SDSelectrophoresis and mass spectrometry. Detected antitumor components indicate about high prospects for a more detailed study of the venom.
