Abstract
The craftsmanship and the popular banks in Varna have developed the economic potential and the social interactions in the city in 1933. A correspondence in a local newspaper testifies to the ongoing discussions about the role of craftsmanship and popular banks, and this has prompted changes in the political and economic base later in time.
