Thus, it seeks to contribute to the debate about the role of science in situations like ours and the links to be established between the scientific, economic and social spheres. Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze what is the role of science in modern societies, based on the reflection on how science plays a vital role in the economic system that both globalization and the modernization process currently configured.
