This research is quasi-experimental research using a quantitative approach. The population and sample of the study are all students of VIII SMP N 4 One Roof Kedungreja Cilacap, namely 27 students VIII A as the experimental class and 27 students VIII B as the control class. Data collection uses test instruments to measure students' mathematical understanding abilities. Taken from the results of the N-Gain test, an average of 0.5867 was obtained in the experimental class in the medium category. In comparison, the average in the control class is 0.2641 in the low sort.
