The proposed cuckoo search algorithm is applied to several benchmark functions and the simulation results show the simplified cuckoo search algorithm can achieve better optimization performance than the original cuckoo search algorithm. Abstract

The Lévy flight was used in cuckoo search to achieve good optimization performance.
