In the feedback gain matrix design, the left-shifting design method of the observer pole is adopted in this paper, which makes the Luenberger observer keep a strong anti-interference in the full-speed region. The effectiveness of the novel HFPS-VSI algorithm is verified on a two-level IPMSM platform by simulation and experimental tests compared to the conventional HFPS-VSI sensorless control strategy. Abstract

An improved high-frequency pulsed sinusoidal voltage signal injection (HFPS-VSI) sensorless vector control strategy applied to interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is proposed in this paper.
