Abstract
Heat treatment of nano-diamond (ND) in air can alter the ND surface chemistry and improve its dispersion. The relationship between the heat treatment temperature and ND surface groups was studied and the effects of different heat treatment conditions on ND size distribution and Zeta potential were elucidated in this paper.
