Abstract

A low profile asymmetric coplanar strip (ACS) fed tri-band antenna is proposed for multiple wireless applications. The proposed antenna consists of three radiating patch elements printed on the 1.6 mm FR4 substrate. The ACS monopole is attached with one L-shape radiating element and two more rectangular radiating planes (stair case and L shape) are added to the radiating patch, in order to generate three resonant frequencies. The composed antenna can operates in three distinct bands ranging from (2.3 GHz–2.5 GHz), (3.35 GHz–3.7 GHz) and (6.2 GHz–8.6 GHz) band and ITU applications.
