Clinical evaluation and comparison of platelet-rich fibrin and injectable platelet-rich fibrin (sticky bone) in the treatment of intrabony defects

The clinical parameters assessed were plaque index, gingival index, probing pocket depth (PPD), relative attachment level, and defect depth reduction at baseline, 3, 6 and 9 months. Results: Nine months postoperatively, a significant improvement in clinical and radiographic parameters was observed from baseline in all three groups. However, Group II and Group III showed better results in all the parameters compared to Group I. Nine months postoperatively, the defect depth reduction was: OFD - 41.59%, i-PRF - 72.75%. and PRF - 62.11%.
