All patients were reexamined every three months after discharge. The recurrence rate was recorded during the one-year follow-up. Then the influencing factors of recurrence within 1 year after treatment were analyzed in terms of patient’s gender, age, tumor major diameter, Tomita typing, Enneking stage, surgical approach, morbidity segment, bisphosphonate dosage, surgical method, postoperative radiotherapy, insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) expression, insulin-like growth factor Ⅱ mRNA binding protein 3 (IMP3) expression and invasion range. \n \n \nResults \nDuring 1-year follow-up after discharge, 38 of 94 patients with spinal bone tumor had recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 40.43%. Advanced Tomita typing, positive IMP3 expression, non-use of bisphosphonates, invasion to ventricular septum, and non-postoperative radiotherapy were the single influencing factors of the recurrence of spinal bone tumor (P<0.05). Abstract
Objective
To analyze the influencing factors of recurrence in patients with spinal bone tumor within 1 year after surgery.
Methods
The clinical data from 94 patients with spinal bone tumors treated by surgery in Shanxi Cancer Hospital from March 2016 to March 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were reexamined every three months after discharge. The recurrence rate was recorded during the one-year follow-up. Results

Advanced Tomita typing, positive IMP3 expression, non-use of bisphosphonates, invasion to ventricular septum, and non-postoperative radiotherapy were independent influencing factors of recurrence of spinal bone tumors within 1 year after surgery (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Advanced Tomita typing, positive IMP3 expression, non-use of bisphosphonates, invasion to ventricular septum, and non-postoperative radiotherapy are independent influencing factors of recurrence of spinal bone tumors within 1 year after surgery.
