Abstract

Stuttering is a communication disorder characterized by a disruption in normal fluency and time patterning of speech. None of the pharmacological agents for stuttering could be recommended for general use; specific drug treatment that is simultaneously effective for both stuttering and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is currently unknown.
