Abstract
Cough variant asthma (CVA) is one of the common causes of chronic cough.Due to its high incidence rate and wide age of onset, it is easy to be misdiagnosed as chronic bronchitis and delay treatment, and then develop into typical asthma. In recent years, fraction exhaled nitric oxide, as a non-invasive, simple, timely and highly repeatable inflammatory marker, has been widely used in clinical practice, which is of great significance for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and management of CVA.Therefore, this paper reviews the application of fraction exhaled nitric oxide in CVA.
