Putting forward simulation calculation methods based on the theory of electrostatic induction to zone the lightning initial attachment zones of the helicopter. Relevant content about parameters of modelling this certain type of the helicopter and detail zoning methods are discussed. The lightning initial attachment zones are calculated by the methods given in this paper and zoning results are compared with the SAE-ARP5414A standard verifying the feasibility of the methods.
