Abstract

Equipped with ability of high-resolution and high-speed imaging in all weather conditions, airborne terahertz synthetic aperture radar received great attention at home and abroad. Because of the high imaging speed of terahertz synthetic aperture radar, ground moving targets can create well-positioned shadows in the image. That property endows terahertz video-SAR ability to detect and associate targets through shadow features. Purely numerical work, especially with commercial software packages, will be published only in very exceptional cases. The same applies to manuscripts describing only algorithms (e.g. pattern recognition algorithms). Manuscripts submitted to the Journal should discuss a significant advancement to the field of infrared, millimeter, and terahertz waves.
