The Th2 cells secret interleukin-4 (IL-4) and IL-13, which activate the downstream signal transduction through the co-receptor interleukin-4 receptor α(IL-4Rα). Abstract
Bronchial asthma (asthma) is such a chronic airway inflammatory disease which mediated by T helper cell type 2 (Th2).
