Abstract
Even though the stakes of leukostasis are high, the data regarding the efficacy of leukapheresis for leukostasis is meagre. We report a patient with leukostasis due to acute myeloid leukaemia with monocytic differentiation who improved clinically after therapeutic leukapheresis, a rarely performed variation of therapeutic apheresis.
