Abstract
- In this study, the goal is to determine what causes Indian bank employees to be stressed at the job and how stress affects their commitment to the organization. For this purpose, 345 people who work at public and private banks in the northern part of India were asked to give us their responses through a structured questionnaire. To figure out what causes job-related stress, an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was done with SPSS version 21. This led to four factors: Performance, Workload, Organizational design and Responsibility/Authority, and Decision-making. To test the hypothesized relationship, PLS-SEM 3 was employed. The findings demonstrated that people who work at a bank are less likely to remain committed if they are stressed out at work. In addition, the findings show that managers need to take numerous different steps to lessen the effect of job-related stress on bank employees.
