The location and width of the fire isolation belt were analyzed and calculated by the point-source model and the numerical simulation method with an engineering case as an example. Results showed that the 8.5 m-wide fire isolation belt could effectively prevent the spread of fire. Its reliability was further analyzed and demonstrated by FDS simulation.
