From the contrast of perceptions, it is intended to analyze the impact that didactic practices may have on the interest in the area and its potential relevance in the formation of social and historical thought in the student. The method used was the mixed one, the samples were collected from two surveys, one applied to 10 teachers and another to 661 6th, 9th, and 11th grade students in the four educational institutions.
